Working in KP has been a great opportunity and a magnificent learning journey, both personally and professionally. It has provided a platform where I could learn, create and test out any passion project that I'm interested in. The team has really top notch folks and interacting with them is an incredible and easy way to see how bright minds work. I am able to see how operating in KP is helping me see my own strengths and weaknesses, and, provides short loops to receive feedback on my blindspots. People keep talking about agile work culture and paradigm shifts these days, though I'm not sure how many organizations truly implement the philosophy of being truly agile. From the little I know, KP is amazingly agile and anyone who is committed to put the work and align to our values, it's gonna be a treat.

Being a teacher a quote that always has stayed with me is "Experience is the teacher of all things". I strongly believe in this and the past 8 months in KP have been similar. While trying to understand how I could contribute to the project and experimenting with different things I have learnt a lot on the way about myself, about how much of a difference we could make through technology for our vision for children. I also have understood team dynamics with my interactions with diverse individuals. KP is a space where I can be the way I like being that is just open to learning at every point of time.

Being an highly energetic individual, my learning curve in KP has been very exponential and it helped me build skills that revolves around project management and leadership. I got an opportunity to understand the dynamics of team work and it pushed my analytical thinking to the next level. The enthusiastic peer group keeps me motivated to think out of the box and help in building
a solid framework in approaching any problem we take up. In a nutshell We stay mad and foolish.

My experience in KP so far can be expressed in one word "Exposure". Only when one realizes that there are infinite options are they willing to try out a finite number of options! KP has helped me gain skills but aboveall it has taught me that I can carve a path for myself.

My experience has been great. We have created a knowledgebase which can be used by any individual to design his own drone with limited research and time. I'm glad that I'm glad that I'm part of such an enthusiastic group who see the problems of our country like I do and not only want to empower those farmers but also others who want to be partrevolution to bring change.

They say " A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions", KP for me is a package of multiple of such experiences where I get to learn, co-create and rejoice with a team that has become my family.

My journey at KP started in late 2015 when Prashanth B began pitching the idea to me and others on our drives from Thiruvanmiyur to the Good Life Centre, Chennai where we used to volunteer. The idea of using one's skills and education to give to the community is always enticing. When asked if I would be on board I agreed. Being a mechanical engineer with a knack for building things I believed there were avenues where I could contribute to the organization. I was assigned to Project Hiko Noka (then Drona) where we wanted to build a drone for use in agriculture. I was initially responsible for the mechanical design but as with most projects with small teams one gets involved in every aspect of the project. Over a year later and 13,700 km away I'm now looking into the code that runs the motors of the drone. There were times of fast and slow progress but progress nonetheless. With new additions in the team and new outlooks, we seem to be gathering pace on this project. With the emphasis on skills and working in teams, one learns how to get things done, which can be useful in many areas. I'm personally looking to take full advantage of this and look forward to the deployment of our creations.

My experience for the past few months has been amazing! For me, it's about applying what I've learned so far and learning new things through experiences. Kaiho Pasu is giving me new experiences everyday. Always wondered how it'd feel like to be part of a great thing right from the start. Few years from now, I think I'll know exactly how that feels

For someone who has been wanting to contribute to the education system in India, finding Kaiho Pasu and team was a blessing. Since I live away from home, I was unsure how I could translate my ideas and skills into on-ground action. I am excited to be working with a group of like-minded individuals who want to be the change, something that resonates with me. I look forward to seeing these projects introduce our children to a different world of learning.

What I have enjoyed most is coming up with a cool title for myself- Creative Energizer😜. But jokes apart the last year and half has been a wonderful journey in trying to go after the dream of relating technology to solving social problems. Building a team of this size has been scary and yet exciting and I am loving the energy with which we are all getting to work on very real problems.

I strongly believe in ,being the change that we would like to see around . KP has given the opportunity to create a change in the existing teaching methodology and syllabus based curriculum. We are able to contribute more ,as every small idea and input given, is valued and through brain storming sessions , we could improvise on the thought. There is abundance learning and time invested reaps benefits in any form. We learn, we teach, we grow as an individual and also as a team.

My KP journey has been great so far , i have had opportunity to learn and surround myself with people with far more experience in both technical and otherwise. It's always great to strive for something collectively and push each other to be the best versions of themselves.

I’ve always wondered if my varied interests in different subjects could be put to practical use anywhere. Thank God for KaihoPasu. It has helped me translate all my learnings into action. The freedom and support provided by the KP team or I’d rather say family, to experiment new ideas that could make a difference, is tremendous. Being a part of a bigger vision is for sure an exciting experience.

An organisation is about the people in it and definitely the learnings come from the very people. Having said that, KP is more of a family than an organisation. Personally, KP has helped me to explore on my path of self-awareness. This inturn pushes me to work on areas of improvement to make me a better professional and individual. One of the best practices in KP - where we stand unique among others - is, we follow hierarchy-free system, the communication flows through all levels. John Powell once said "Communication is the life, blood and heartbeat of any relationship" Being a part of Human Capital team helps me to understand more on multicultural competencies and wellness of people. Overall, Kaiho Pasu encourage anyone to discover their true selves.
